I learned the hard way a few weeks ago that there's no place to stand in the midst of a sporting event that isn't in everyone's way.
Don't get me wrong, it was a lot of fun to shoot a swimming competition at UIC(getting there and home wasn't) but it's hard not to feel awkward when everyone around is in their intense athlete mode and there's me, who stands out like a hobbit in Mordor, two feet away trying to take their pictures.
